Board 6 - Scott's Rocket

Whilst Ethan has bought some of the materials for 2 of the boards I've shaped him, this was my first real comissioned board.  I did feel under pressure on this one especially as it was to be a christmas present for Scott.  The freezing conditions didn't help, it took 3 heaters to get the shed to the minimum temperature needed for glassing.
This was 5'8 x 19 5/8 x 2 5/8 with a rocket tail.  Scott designed and cut out the stencil for the art work and I did the airbrushing.

In the background of this photo you can see my 4th board.

The working conditions were a little bit chilly.

This board is incredible. It's ideal for anyone who's looking to further their surfing abilities. Both the width and the volume in the board make catching waves easy but does not sacrifice maneuverability. I have surfed this board in 6 foot + surf and 2 foot slop and its still incredible no matter what surf your in. So responsive! Best board i've had! Thanks Glenn!
